Residential Interior Design
Turn of the Century Tudor
This beautiful classic English Tutor has been home to the same family for almost 40 years. After raising their 4 children in this home, the couple decided a refreshing was in order. Painstakingly, we replaced, restored and retrofitted the home with today’s technology, while maintaining the homes beautiful warmth and character.
Mid-Century Modern Reborn
In the 1980’s this contemporary colonial was redecorated in the color palette of the times….mauves and greys. Walls were rounded and glass block installed. In order to wipe out the dated look, we gutted the first floor, repurposed rooms, and refreshed the overall palette and design to a much more classic, modern feeling.
The traditional footprint of this beautiful colonial was expanded to make room for a family of 6. It was important for our clients though, that while tradition was maintained, we also breathed new life into the interior. Using bold colors and vibrant prints we combined the clients love of elegance with bold strokes of color. Ceiling designs and millwork were added throughout the home for a sense of permanence. As this young family grows, we continue to tweak the spaces to fit their lifestyles.
NYC Victorian Renovation
This beautiful NY brownstone was in total disrepair when a young professional rescued it from the wrecking ball. A total gut renovation took two years. All the antique furnishings were sourced from all over the country. The design of the interior was carefully planned to replicate a typical early 20th Century Victorian owned by an affluent family. A perfect example of historic preservation and period design.
Now a beautiful open floor plan contemporary, this young family's home started out chopped up, dark, and dreary. After a full design and engineering study we completely gutted and reframed to let the light in. Incorporating modern lines and blending traditional foundations, we were able to achieve a wonderful, fresh balance for this family. Modern conveniences such as radiant flooring and motorized window shades are now built into the very fabric of this home. Utilizing beautiful source materials such as marble, stainless steel, and custom cabinetry, we were able to achieve a warm, elegant space where everyone can relax.

This 1950's bungalow located exactly half way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Great South Bay had been spot renovated throughout the years, but it took 2' of water running through the first floor from Super Storm Sandy to spur the homeowners into a full-fledged gut renovation and redesign. When our clients purchased this home from a 'spec' builder 6 years ago, they were able to make certain choices such as wood floors and tiles, but they were unable to customize each room the way they envisioned. Essentially, they purchased a plain vanilla box. Fast forward through the years, and we have taken each room, added extensive moldings, developed exciting color palettes, and selected furnishings to compliment each unique space.

This Manhasset Long Island home is stately and elegant. When hired for the project, the walls were bare sheetrock and bore only the builders grade moldings. The details you see were all designed and executed by our award winning design team.

Simple & Sophisticated
After living in this Roslyn home for more than 2 decades, the homeowner decided the family and dining room needed updating. With a new color palette in place, we selected new wall covering, window treatments, furniture, carpets, and accessories. Moldings were added to give the space additional dimension and character. The final result is an updated, traditional space that is timeless in design.
