DISALVO INTERIORS TEAMS UP WITH ROSIE O'DONNELL, MARK WAHLBERG, THE NFL, LORRAINE BRACCO OF THE SOPRANOS AND GOLDEN-GLOBE NOMINATED ACTRESS PENNY MARSHALL TO RAISE $40,000 FOR BRAIN TRAUMA RESEARCH WITH "BENEFIT FOR BRAIN TRAUMA" ON NOVEMBER 15 AT 6:00 PM

LONG ISLAND, NY (November 13, 2007)--when a head injury caused by an explosion at the world trade center sent their cousin into a coma earlier this summer, diSalvo Interiors' mother-daughter design team decided to hold a benefit to raise money for his cause. The benefit will be held on November 15, 6:00 PM, at the diSalvo Interiors showroom in conjunction with the Brain Injury Association of New York State. The Showroom is located at 840 Franklin Avenue in Garden City and tickets can be purchased for $125 by calling 516.873.6011. The benefit will feature:

  • Unbelievable silent auction items such as a signed Laverne and Shirley script, a signed DVD of A League of Their Own, original art, luxury accessories, exclusive event tickets and spa and hotel packages and signed sports jerseys. 
  • Attended and co-chaired by Lorraine Bracco of The Sopranos
  • Co-chaired by Golden Globe-nominated actress, producer and director Penny Marshall of Laverne & Shirley
  • Attended by NFL players and NFO CFO Kim Williams
  • Silent auction items from Rosie O'Donnell , Mark Wahlberg and NFL players Peyton Manning, Jerry Rice and Brett Favre ; and Ana Sophia Scheller of The New York City Ballet
  • Keynote speakers including Dr. Flannigan, surgeon for Bob Woodruff
  • Live entertainment, cocktails and gourmet cuisine
