GARDEN CITY'S DISALVO INTERIORS WINS FREE AD IN TIMES SQUARE
Mother-daughter interior design team wins Dell Computers' Small Business Contest with their "Naked Ad," to be featured in Times Square July 9-10, 2007
NEW YORK, NY (July 2007)--Known for their strong personalities as much as their original interior designs, Annemarie and Rosemarie diSalvo recently won Dell's Contest with the "Naked Ad," featuring their design staff draped in a single piece of fabric--and nothing else. The contest, which honors only 300 contestants nationwide, bases awards on originality, expression of theme, clarity of statement and quality of the photo. "We were all screaming when we found out we won!" said Annemarie diSalvo, co-founder.
The ad comes at the right time for the diSalvos, who are holding a designer sale in their showroom during the month of July to benefit brain trauma research. The sale is in honor of their cousin, a construction worker who was injured last month in an explosion at the World Trade Center that sent him into a coma.
The mother-daughter team is available for morning interviews on both July 9 and July 10. High-res photos of the ad and the design team are available upon request.
